Our Reception Areas
At Diamond Valley Veterinary Hospitals, we pride ourselves on the quality of the service we give, and the facilities we use. This philosophy is born out as you enter our Hospitals as our nursing staff are always
on hand to ensure a warm and caring welcome.
The member of staff who welcomes you will take your details and prepare your pet's record on our computer system. All our records are stored on a central computer which is linked to both Hospitals.
Thus your pet's clinical file can be easily retrieved at either Hospital, is always legible, and contains a full medical record, including medications,
at the touch of a button (or two).
Both Hospitals have been designed to take advantage of natural light with large amounts of glass in the reception areas. At Eltham Central Veterinary Hospital, we have two waiting areas - one for dogs, and one for cats. This helps to minimise stress on our feline patients
prior to consultation. There is also an alternate route to exit the
reception area so congestion and possible confrontation can be
avoided.
Pet foods, non-prescription
drugs, shampoos, collars, leads, grooming and training aids are on
display in the waiting room and available for purchase. Cool water,
tea and coffee are also available on request to waiting clients.
Both Hospital are easily
accessible from the on-site car parks, and both have generous
disabled access.
Now, let's walk into the consultation rooms...
